Woohoot! I love postcards and stamps, and decided to try to collect Owl Postcards from around the world. Meanwhile, let's see how many countries & US states I can collect along the way! I've saved my favorite landmarks and pieces of art.
*I don't know if the 2022 Dec Vivillion release made this task easier or harder :/

Shingu Shrine
Eight gods are enshrined at Shingu Shrine, including Izanagi no Kami, Hayatama no Oko no Kami, and Sentsu Kotano Oko no Mikoto. Regarding the enshrinement in this place: (1) It was enshrined in a place called Obara, five cho (about 500m) from the current location, but it was moved to the current location because it was inconvenient for the elderly and children to visit. (2) There are various theories such as that it was enshrined in Choraku-ji Temple due to the syncretism of Shinto and Buddhism, but that Choraku-ji Temple was closed and the shrine was moved to its current location. The festival is held on October 19th every year. The stairs leading up from the torii gate are so steep that they come to a dead end.
